Richard Herring

Richard Herring was appointed European Managing Director and Senior Vice President of Volt in December 2010 and is responsible for driving business growth across Europe and delivering profit performance targets as well as service quality.  Richard joined Volt as European Staffing Services Director in early 2006 and has more than twenty-two years experience of the recruitment industry with particular expertise in professional sectors such as I.T. and engineering.  He also has extensive knowledge of running multi-sited operations and working in international markets.

Richard is passionate about continuous improvement, both within Volt (where he is a Six Sigma Champion) and the wider recruitment industry.  He has twice been elected to serve three year terms on the Board of the industry trade association APSCo, and held the role of Deputy Chair in 2008 and Chair 2009/2010. Richard was named as one of two Individual Contributors to APSCo in 2009 in recognition of his support for the association.

Peter Reagan

Peter Reagan joined Volt in 2008 as European Group Business Development Director, having spent nearly 20 years leading organisations in the area of Staffing and Business Consultancy.  Peter's remit at Volt is to increase our market penetration across Europe and to work with the Senior Management Team to define corporate Sales & Marketing strategy across our Staffing and Managed Service divisions, and to execute this across the business to achieve sustainable year-on-year growth.

Peter has always maintained a hands-on approach to customer engagement, their changing needs and the evolving world of staffing and managed services.  He believes passionately in the ongoing strategic and innovative potential of our industry, whilst understanding that ‘delivery is sales’.

Stephen Hill

Stephen Hill joined Volt as European Finance Director in 2007. He has worked as a Finance Director of a number of businesses over the past 15 years including several divisions of consumer goods company Procter & Gamble within Europe. More recently he was Finance Director of Elan Group, the IT recruitment arm of Manpower. Stephen's responsibilities within Volt are ensuring that the Finance group, its systems and processes are capable of supporting the company's growth plans including partnering effectively with the management team to further develop a profitable business.
