To be responsible for identifying and developing relationships with clients to acquire and fulfill orders for contractors. Essential functions:
Identify and target clients within market / industry sector
Develop client relationships through warm and cold calling
Meet and achieve agreed objectives and performance quotas
Be responsible for maintaining profit margins
Maintain good client relationships
Identify and supply appropriately skilled contract resource to fill client orders
Skills & Experience
Previous IT or equivalent recruitment experience within a new business development role
Demonstrable experience of meeting sales objectives and targets on a regular basis
Awareness of latest legislation pertaining to the recruitment industry
Experience in management of conflict resolution and contractual negotations
Strong inter-personal skills
Strong negotiation skills
Ability to prioritise and manage daily tasks
Flexible approach to workload
We are looking for a genuinely hardworking, keen and talented individual who is focussed on success and the development of good long-term earnings. The position involves substantial client prospecting and lead development whilst undertaking numerous client appointments in order to secure new business. The successful candidate will demonstrate a proactive approach to customer development. Additionally the successful candidate will have sound commercial experience, be ambitious and motivated with a flexible approach to a demanding workload.
Salary
Negotiable depending on experience
OTE: £60K - £80K
