The Department
The Brussels Contract and Permanent Staffing Team is responsible for providing consultative recruitment solutions to both new and existing clients within the BeNeLux area. Both high margin, low volume requirements and high volume, lower margin opportunities are targeted. Developing new and building upon existing relationships across the clients functions are key tasks, whilst developing market knowledge to source technical consultants at all levels is critical. Team members must develop strong working relationships with the Consultants on assignment to protect margins and facilitate the opportunity to gain client business.
The Role
To match candidates to vacancies and identify and secure new clients, ensuring a professional and team orientated approach is maintained. To achieve pre-agreed targets for all activity.
Skills & Experience
Previous IT or equivalent recruitment experience within a new business development role
Demonstrable experience of meeting sales objectives and targets on a regular basis
Awareness of latest legislation relevant to the recruitment industry
Experience of management of conflict resolution and contractual negotiations
Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
Ability to prioritise and manage daily tasks
A good command of English language (both written and verbal)
Excellent communication, questioning and investigative skills
Knowledge of Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook and Internet Explorer
Excellent time management and organisation skills, a methodical approach and an eye for maximizing opportunities

Working Hours
The position is for a 38 hour working week Monday to Friday. However, flexibility with work hours is required.
