Volt Consulting Group is looking for a Business Development Manager with a demonstrable track record in MSP/RPO sales for contingent (essential) and permanent (desirable) workers.

Volt Consulting Group manages a number of MSPs and RPOs, providing services in over 20 European countries. Our European division offers the successful candidate the chance to be part of an integrated team working on either stand-alone European bids, or as part of a wider sales team working with responsibility for the European element of multi-continent opportunities.
Reporting to Volt’s Sales and Marketing Director (EMEA), the applicant should be self motivated to take opportunities from prospecting (new business and prospect calling are an essential part of this role), through to contract signature. They will need to demonstrate the competencies necessary to manage the entire sales process. This process will generally include the involvement of the Operations Director and their implementation/delivery teams, as well as engagement with our American colleagues for global opportunities.
The Business Development Manager will focus on generating new business opportunity and building a strategically targeted pipeline to ensure regular contract awards. Financially aware and capable of dealing comfortably with C Level executives where required, the successful applicant will need to demonstrate a capability for combining effective sales techniques with a consultative approach.
This position is suited to an individual with a proven track record, maybe from a larger MSP/RPO provider, who wishes to have more autonomy and to have a greater influence on how their organisation does business.

Role Responsibilities
Drive individually targeted sales and prospect engagement creating a pipeline of MSP/RPO opportunities
Keep up-to-date with developments in the MSP/RPO sector
Develop and maintain target account plans
Lead the sales cycle from identification to contract signature
Work with the bid team to develop compelling responses that deliver value according to each customer’s needs
Liaise with the US sales and bid teams where appropriate
Build and maintain senior level prospect relationships
Track all sales activity and maintain prospect records
Keep abreast of competitor presence in the market, as well as prospects and their renewal timelines
Keep abreast of competitor offerings
Achieve targets and performance measures
Liaise with European colleagues as required and gain their commitment to your sales strategy
Knowledge
Experience and a demonstrable history of achievement in the majority of the following:
Current or previous business development experience at corporate level
Proven and tangible evidence of winning business and developing and nurturing client relationships at senior level
Knowledge of Managed Service Provision and Recruitment Process Outsourcing
Proven track record of planning, strategising and opportunity qualification
Education
Graduate level or equivalent

Salary negotiable according to skills, experience and previous MSP/RPO win achievements
Discretionary car allowance
Commissions earnings uncapped

Working Hours
The position is for a 40 hour working week between 0830 and 1730 Monday to Friday. However, flexibility with work hours is required.
